Ride With Us
OK, so you want to ride with us. There are however a couple of things you need to do first.
1. You will need a valid motorcycle endorsement or permit and proof of insurance. These will be verified later by a Chapter Officer
2. Contact Us or any Chapter for next meeting date. Or you can just show up, but depending on the event scheduled for that date. We may or may not be able to answer all your questions, or spend quality time with you.
3. Alright, after aquainting yourself with our Chapter, if you still wish to ride with us you need to aquaint yourself with our STAR Chapter 317 Ride Handbook. These are guidelines and rules we follow for the Safety of all participants in our rides.
4. Prior to the actual ride you will need to fill out a STAR Touring and Riding Ride Waiver. At this time a Chapter Officer will verify a valid motorcycle endorsement or permit and proof of insurance.
5. You are allowed to ride with any chapter three times before joining STAR Touring and Riding. Follow this link to join. https://www.startouring.org/join.aspx
6. After joining STAR Touring and Riding you will have to fill out an application to join Chapter 317 and be voted in. Not all members of STAR Touring and Riding are members of chapters and it is not required for National membership.
