Chapter 317 attended STAR Days in Roanoke, VA as one of it’s first “official” long trips. Hooking up with the Indianapolis chapter on the way down provided Tom Neil with good fun and comradery, and some challenging riding . Side trips during the week included Skyline Drive, a visit to the Veterans Home and the Feed the Children run. If you’ve never been to STAR Days, a couple of the great benefits include the chance to meet many of the faces that go with the names on the STAR Bulletin Boards, to see a ton of nicely prepared bikes, many of which are included on the STAR calendar, and, most of all, to have a great time with fellow riders. The safe ride back home to Michigan was shared with Chapter 211 members. Bottom line—a good time was had by all!
